Friskie is a 1-year-old black and white short hair. His owner chose her new boyfriend over him. Friskie is very affectionate and loves to be held. Up to date on vaccinations, neutered and FIV/FeLV negative. Credit Chance at Life Cat Rescue
Calvin is a 2-year-old orange/blonde short hair. He was abandoned in Englewood Cliffs by his family. Calvin is a little shy at first but will become your best bud. Up to date on vaccinations, neutered and FIV/FeLV negative. Credit Chance at Life Cat Rescue
Rose is a young Calico cat who came into the shelter with two other cats. She is adjusting to the shelter quite well considering how shy and scared she was at first. The shelter says the more she socialized the better she is with people. She is still somewhat timid but will purr when you pick her up. She seems to enjoy affection but like a kitty her age she is full of like and energy and will be a blast to have in the home. Credit Bergen County Animal Shelter
Scrunchie is super cute and very small Tabby cat. She is about 6-months old but looks more like 4-months old. Scrunchie is a up to date with shots and has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia. Credit Bergen County Animal Shelter
Simba, a Boxer/Mastiff Mix, was surrendered to the shelter because his owners were severely allergic. He was quite timid and very fearful, but the more time he spent with people at the shelter, the more confident he became. The former family let the shelter know that Simba can be wary of strangers and does not trust easily therefore the family that adopts him should keep in mind to be cautious when Simba begins to interact with different people. It is advised that Simba acclimate on his own terms and to not force socialization. Credit Bergen County Animal Shelter

Chance at Life Cat Rescue is at PetSmart from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. This week they are showing three cats who are up for adoption. They are Friskie, Anastasia and Calvin. Visit the store to see them, or visit the Chance at Life website to view all their available cats.
