Father Hummel Named Paramus OEM Chaplain
Paramus governing body gives a new role to longtime active member of the community, Father Don Hummel.
Paramus has given a new role to Father Don Hummel, longtime active member of the community.
Tuesday night the governing body welcomed Father Hummel as chaplain to the Office of Emergency Management. Hummel said he recently moved back to Paramus and is happy to continue his service to this community.
He previously was the priest at Our Lady of Visitation and has served as chaplain of various community organizations including the Paramus Knights of Columbus, said Mayor Richard LaBarbiera.

Hummel also serves as chaplain at Paramus Catholic High School and Immaculate Heart Academy in Washington Township.
