NY's Mini Cupcake Chain Makes Paramus Its Newest Home
Baked by Melissa announces it will soon open at Garden State Plaza mall.
Baked by Melissa, a popular New York based bakery known for its bite-size cupcake creations, will soon make its way into New Jersey opening a shop at Paramus' Garden State Plaza this spring.
The bakery chain first opened in Soho in 2009 and has since opened several other New York City locations in Times Square, Columbus Circle and in the Financial District. Paramus will be the very first New Jersey location for Baked by Melissa fans.
The mini-cupcake chain was born from the idea that people should be able "to taste more flavors without that post-dessert guilt trip" as per the company's website.

The bakery features dozens of bite-sized cupcake flavors from milk and cookies, cotton candy, snow covered pretzels and French toast, which is April's featured flavor.
