Paramus' Relay for Life Team Captains Meet Next Wednesday

The overnight fundraiser event takes place this June.

Team Captains of the first-ever community wide Paramus Relay for Life will conduct their first meeting next Wednesday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Paramus High School.

The first community-wide Relay for Life event, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, will be held at the high school track overnight Friday, June 14 into Saturday, June 15.

Twenty-teams and 117 participants are already signed up for the event and have raised more than $6,000 according to the event's web page.

Councilwoman Maria Elena Bellinger urged members of the community to get involved Tuesday night. She reminds all that it only costs $10 to be a participant and a donation of $50 to stay overnight at the event.
