Police: Bronx Man Tried to Use Stolen Credit Card at Best Buy

Guido A. Pion De Leon, 29, was charged with identity theft, wrongful impersonation, fraudulent use of a credit card and possession of a stolen credit card.

A Bronx, N.Y., man tried Tuesday to make a $450 purchase at the Best Buy, said.

Guido A. Pion De Leon, 29, was charged with identity theft, wrongful impersonation, fraudulent use of a credit card and possession of a stolen credit card.

Acting on a tip from store employees, Officer Jack Cacamis stopped De Leon at about 3:20 p.m. De Leon was carrying three fake drivers' licenses, one from New Jersey, two from Connecticut; a fraudulent Master Card; and two fraudulent Visa cards, reports said.

De Leon was arrested and sent to Bergen County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
