Paramus High School will present a discussion and Q&A on prescription drug abuse entitled "How Safe is your Medicine Cabinet?" on Tuesday, March 12, 8:30pm at the borough high school.
The discussion will be moderated by Asseblywoman Connie Wagner and include the following on the panel:
- Paramus Police Detective Sgt. John Devine
- PHS Student Assistance Counselor Joseph Traina
- Judy Forman, Bergen County Municipal Alliance Coordinator
- A parent
- an Alum
- and the Spring House, a Halfway House for Women

The event is sponsored by the Bergen County Prevention Coalitition through a grant from the NJ Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, in collaboration with The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources, the Paramus Board of Education, the Paramus Police Department, the Paramus Municipal Alliance and the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
