Freezing Rain Could Cause Treacherous Traveling Conditions
The National Weather Service is cautioning drivers of freezing rain and slippery roads. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect through 7 p.m.
With the temperature hovering near the freezing mark and precipitation in the area, icy roads could very well be the result.
The National Weather Service has posted a Freezing Rain Advisory through 7 p.m. Sunday evening.
"A glaze of ice will make travel treacherous," says the advisory.
A Freezing Rain Advisory Means that periods of freezing rain or drizzle will cause travel difficulties. If you're going to be on the roads, be prepared for slippery conditions, slow down and use caution while driving.
