Ridgewood native Ali Stroker performed a one-woman show in front of hundreds of high school and college students at Berge Community College’s Ciccone Theater Tuesday.

Stroker, who has been paralyzed and in a wheelchair since the age of two, has performed on the Glee Project, a competition that airs on the Oxygen network to land a spot on the popular musical comedy series Glee.

Stroker finished as runner up in the second season of the Glee Project but that wasn’t why she was performing on Tuesday.

“Finding Glee” is the name of the one-woman show that Stroker wrote and performed at Bergen Community College. The show tells the story about her life up to and after Glee. Its goal is to send a message of hope to students, including the Bergen Pride students and special needs children in attendance.
