West Brook’s incoming fifth graders participated in an official welcome-to-middle-school-life at the family fun night.
West Brook Principal Carla Alvarez and Vice Principal Larry Calenda as well as teachers from a variety of grade levels and school counselors came to meet and greet parents and students.
Students enjoyed a variety of activities such as ping-pong, knock hockey, hula hoops, music and dancing.
This event is just one of many activities jointly planned by the West Brook Administration and PTA. West Brook’s first PTA meeting of the school year will be held in the West Brook Cafeteria on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. All parents are encouraged to attend.
This second annual 5th Grade Family Fun Night was sponsored by the West Brook PTA. Parent volunteers Lisa Yoler, Gloria Amoroso, Dawn Connolly, Julia Setola, Debbie Ianonna and Chirs Haemmerle were all in attendance and thanked for helping out.
