Enterprise Holdings Receives Recognition From CIANJ For Philanthropic Initiatives

Wayne, New Jersey, April 11, 2014- The New Jersey operational team of Enterprise Holdings, the corporate parent of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, received the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) honor for “Impressive Good Works” during the Chairman’s Reception on March 15, 2014.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from CIANJ for our work within the community,” said Carole Lakin, group cultural relations manager, human resources. “Receiving this honor further validates our commitment to the communities in which we live and work. We are proud to make a positive difference through the support and devotion of our company and its employees.”

CIANJ recognized the positive impact Enterprise Holdings has and continues to provide to numerous local organizations. In 2013, Enterprise Holdings worked with Habitat for Humanity after Hurricane Sandy, rebuilding projects in Northern and Central New Jersey and provided a $20,000 donation from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation. In addition, the Enterprise Holdings Foundation and Corporation contributed $36,000 and provided assistance to the American Cancer Society. Enterprise continues to support these organizations in the 2014 calendar year, as well as many other local nonprofits throughout New Jersey.

Andy Church, New York Group GM/President, was there to accept the honor during the CIANJ Chairman’s Reception at the Stony Hill Inn, in Hackensack, New Jersey. The reception recognized extraordinary acts of kindness from member companies and/or their employees. Winners will be showcased and featured in the March issue of COMMERCE Magazine.
