Winter Carnival, Tree Lighting Done in Winter Wonderland
Were you at the winter carnival and tree lighting this week? Send us your photos.
A Saturday snowstorm caused traffic safety troubles all over northern New Jersey and caused Paramus to push their Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting Ceremony to Sunday.
Despite a layer of snow and ice on the grassy areas, the parking lots were cleared and the winter carnival went off without a hitch. The snowy scenery made it an appropriately titled Winter Wonderland.
According to a paramuspost.com report, several departments, including Shade Tree, Parks Department and DPW, worked well into Sunday morning in order to get things clear.

"TY to Diane, Dennis, Sue and the other employees and volunteers that worked so hard putting together the Winter Carnival yesterday. And a very special thanks to Connor who helped me light the tree. It was a huge success!"
