Winter Carnival, Tree Lighting Done in Winter Wonderland

A Saturday snowstorm caused traffic safety troubles all over northern New Jersey and caused Paramus to push their Winter Wonderland and Tree Lighting Ceremony to Sunday. 

Despite a layer of snow and ice on the grassy areas, the parking lots were cleared and the winter carnival went off without a hitch. The snowy scenery made it an appropriately titled Winter Wonderland. 

According to a paramuspost.com report, several departments, including Shade Tree, Parks Department and DPW, worked well into Sunday morning in order to get things clear.

The Paramus 4th Grade Glee Club performed a concert for guests in attendance and helped count down to the tree lighting.
