East Brook Middle School students competed in the annual Spelling Bee last month. Sixth grade student Mia DeVizio won the fifth/sixth grade spelling bee and eigth grade student Rachel Nichols won the seventh/eighth spelling bee event.
Nichols goes on to complete in the North Jersey Semi-Finals at Bergen Community College in Paramus in March.
