Free Shuttle Bus Service Connects Bergen Community College Locations

Bergen Community College had a ribbon cutting to launch their new student shuttle bus service that connects their Paramus and Meadowlands locations.

Bergen Community College students can now travel between the school’s Paramus and Meadowlands locations via shuttle bus.

With the help of a federal grant, Bergen Community College launched the free student service Wednesday. College and county officials such as Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan were on hand to cut the ribbon and launch the service.

A 3-year $634,836 “Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Grant” along with a county match of more than $211,000 will help fund the service. Shuttles will run every half-hour from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. when classes meet.
