Paramus High School welcomed 20 German exchange students as a part of their first student exchange in 15 years.
The students arrived with two teachers from Kralsruhe, German just after 5 p.m. last Thursday. The students were met with posters, flags, balloons and flowers.
Each of the 20 exchange students will “shadow” a Paramus High School student for the next few weeks and will stay with host families around Paramus.
Excursions to New York City, Princeton and the local malls are all scheduled and a potluck dinner with all the host families is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the high school cafeteria.
