West Brook School Students Spend Day In Council Members' Shoes
Eighth graders in the Elk Students and Government program at West Brook School engaged with town council members for a day.
Students at West Brook School got the chance to experience the inner-workings of their local government firsthand.
Eight 8th graders at the school, who are members of the Elk Students in Government program, got to trail members of the town council and attend a day as honorary members themselves.
Katrina Hakko, Adriana Morsella, James Blair, Elizabeth Haines, Ali Froogh, Aaron Rivera, Danielle Hod and Samreen Khateeb all participated in the event and received awards for their participation later in the evening.
