West Brook School Students Use Skype to Meet Pen Pals in Virginia

West Brook Middle School students got the chance to meet the kindergarteners at McKinley Elementary in Arlington, who were writing to them as part of their final project, via Skype.

As the kindergartners of McKinley Elementary in Arlington, Virginia mastered their penmanship, students at West Brook guided them along the way by serving as pen pals for the youngsters.

The students of Maria Ciuccio's class got to meet the budding writers during a Skype session last Wednesday as a reward to the kindergarteners of Michelle Kappert's class.

Ciuccio's class also received a thank-you letter, written with the help of Kappert, from the students in Arlington as a final token of their appreciation.
