Paladins Wins Second Consecutive State Championship

The Paramus Catholic Paladins out-muscled St. Peter's Prep for a 13-6 win in the championship game at MetLife Stadium.

St. Peter's Prep scored on their first possession but the Paladins shut them down after that.

"This is what we put in all the hard work for," said Paladins coach Chris Partridge. "Everything we do is for this moment. All the practice, the tough schedule and even the losses. It all helped prepare us for this game on this stage."

The Paladins' standout cornerback Jabrill Peppers, currently committed to Michigan, finishes his high school career as a 4-time state champion. Two with Don Bosco and two more after transferring to Paramus Catholic.
