Board of Ed Meeting, Cooking Class, High School Orientation This Week

Paramus High midterm exams start this week as well.

The Paramus Branch Library has been keeping kids busy all winter long. They have already hosted a day of making gingerbread houses, an abominable snowman toss, made winter cupcakes and held a stuffed animal parade. The Branch Library will be hosting an arts and crafts event for teens on Wednesday. Participants will be making their own snow globe. The Branch Library is also hosting a Chinese New Year party on Friday at 3 p.m.

Chef Central, who is in the midst of their Ultimate Chef Bergen County competition, is hosting an adult, hands-on, cooking class, Chili, Three Ways, that is perfect for the cold weather. Click here for more information. 

  • The Paramus Board of Education will meet Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.
  • Paramus High School Students will take their midterm exams Monday - Wednesday of this week.   
  • Orientation for eighth graders will be held at Paramus High School Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
  • Memorial Elementary School is holding a PTA Book Fair and a Family Reading Night from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening. 
  • Bergen Community College students will face off against members of the faculty/staff in a volleyball game on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
