Gordon Wins Senate Seat to Represent District 38

Democratic incumbent Bob Gordon retains his New Jersey State Senate seat and will be joined by Democratic incumbent Timothy Eustace and Joseph Lagana in the State Assembly for District 38.

Bob Gordon (D) will continue to represent the 38th Legislative District in the New Jersey State Senate. 

The Democratic incumbent appears to be the winner of Tuesday’s election in which he was challenged by Republican candidate Fernando Alonso of Oradell.

  • Bob Gordon – 23,909 Votes – 52,19%
  • Fernando Alonso – 21,901 – 47.81%

Gordon was the Mayor of Fair Lawn from 1988-1991 and sat on the State General Assembly from 2003 to 2007 at which point he ran for and won his current seat representing District 38 in the State Senate.
